Harold Van Glass

Obituary

Mr. Glass was born in Monroe, Louisiana on January 24, 1949. He is a graduate of Ouachita High School. He is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Glass is a graduate of Northeast University of Monroe and of Northwestern University of Louisiana. He was a Welding Instructor and Vocational Manager for Job Corps for over 35 years. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church for many years. Mr. Glass enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Glass is preceded in death by his father and mother, O.D. and Pearl Glass; sister, Cynthia Jane Glass Bond; son, William Harold Ellard. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cynthia Redler Glass; sister, Betty Glass Culpepper; daughters, Shelley Glass Gwin and Kristen Glass McComic; their mother, Martha Ellard; stepdaughter, Michelle Redler;  grandchildren, Dakota Clark (wife Tayler), Trent Clark, Dalton Clark, Cole Hardy and Taylor Hardy; great grandchild, Paisley Clark; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
