Mrs. Kathleen Turrentine, 99 passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Heritage Manor South. Mrs. Turrentine was a native of Finley, OK. And a resident of Bossier City for 42 years. She was a member of Kingston Road Baptist Church. Kathleen attended Chilocco Indian Agricultural School, where she was a star basketball player.
Mrs. Turrentine was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Shelton Turrentine; her four sisters, Velma King, Juanita Grosset, Virginia Macon and Naomi Alder; four brothers, E.J. Hogan, Warren Hogan, Burrell Hogan, and Marrell Hogan.
She is survived by her daughter, Patty Ann T. Donovan and husband, Marvin J. Donovan of Bossier City, LA; sons, Phillip Ross Turrentine and wife, Donna of Conyers, GA, and S.E. “Moe” Turrentine and wife, Julianne S. of Swanton MD; five grandchildren, Deanna Cabasa and husband, Ramon, Sean Turrentine and wife, Sarah, Chris Beaucher and wife, Heather, Monica Rigdon and husband, Junior, and Mike Donovan and wife, Ann; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Martha Flowers of CA and brother Conrad Hogan of AZ.
The family request that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
