A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 1 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Community located at 1000 Tinker Rd., Colleyville, TX 76034. A visitation will be held between 12 PM to 1 PM. Burial will be on June 18th at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport, La. Time to be determined.
Mary Beadles was born on December 8, 1943 in Shreveport, La. She was a proud graduate of C.E. Byrd High School. She participated in Byrd’s band and even marched in the Rose Bowl Parade. Mary attended Louisiana Tech, where she received an Education Degree. She was a second-grade teacher in South Louisiana for several years while her husband attended LSU, before becoming a full-time teacher to her children. Mary attended every sporting event, was room mom for all her kids and even an art teacher as a volunteer at the school her children attended and loved to play a game or two of Tennis. She was a huge LSU fan and she loved to watch all the football games up to her passing. She would always say Geaux Tigers!
In the late 1980’s, she, and the love of her life (Steve Beadles) moved to Colleyville, Texas. Mary was a member of the Colleyville Woman’s Club and Garden Club, in which she served a term as President. Mary loved flowers and plants. She loved to travel, play Bridge and Canasta with friends.
Mary is survived by her children Boyd Beadles and wife, Carol; Jennifer Pope and husband Greg; Dean Beadles. Grandchildren Claire Beadles, Andrew Pope, Zachary Pope, Lucas Moran and Holland Beadles. Siblings Lucy Todd and Rebecca Havel, nieces Catherine Parks, Anita Drabek, Sherry Towns, Katherine and Melissa Anderson. Nephews Joseph Havel, Will Havel, Shawn Traylor, Adam Traylor, John Beadles, Michael Beadles, Benjamin Beadles, Steve Anderson and Greg Anderson. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Steven Beadles and brothers Robert and Charles Anderson.
Mary, mom, was loved dearly by so many people and will be forever missed.
